David C. Wiitala graduated from Michigan State University in 1969 with a B.A.; he graduated from Michigan State University in 1970 with an M.A. in Labor and Industrial relations.
He taught school in the Chicago Public System for four years and then attended University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated with a J.D. degree in 1976.
He worked in Tampa as in house counsel for Continental Insurance Company for four years, defending insurance companies in automobile accidents and workers compensation cases.
He then moved to West Palm Beach where he has been in private practice representing injured workers in workers compensation and personal injury cases since 1980.
Mr. Wiitala has handled workers compensation, auto accidents and other personal injury cases throughout his thirty-four year career. He has also handled workers compensation appeals throughout his career. He is fluent in Spanish as is his assistant.
